		 Dan Moriarty
 | Dan "Mort" Moriarty 
        is best known to Brewer & Shipley album buyers as “Mort”, the 
        photographer credited with some of their key album photos.  Dan is 
        a Renaissance Man, a photographer, an artist manager (Good Karma & Bag 
        O’ Bucks), and a former part owner of the legendary Cowtown Ballroom 
        music venue in Kansas City.  A proud fifth generation Kansas Citian, 
        who now lives in San 
        Francisco, one of Dan’s first jobs was as a professional photographer.  
		His photos
        have been published in the Rolling Stone Magazine, Time Out 
        Magazine (London), the San Francisco Chronicle, the San Francisco 
        Examiner, |  |  
        |  | the Kansas City Star, The Village Voice, and the New York 
        Times.  His photo credits include a dozen album covers by artists 
        including Brewer & Shipley, Danny Cox, Curtis Mayfield, Edwin Hawkins, 
        Paul Anka, & The Tubes. 
    As  manager of The Tubes, 
    Dan  was immortalized in their song
