Retro Man

I finally got myself a computer

I finally broke down and bought a PC

But after downloading this and upgrading that

Well I think somethin’s tryin’ to program me

I’m a retro man

A retro man

Retro man

I finally got a CD player

I ran my speakers to my big screen TV

I’ve got my VHS VCR

But I still don’t have my DVD

‘Cause I’m a retro man

A retro man

A Retro man

In an age of new technology

Just trying to keep up the best I can

I don’t expect to own a digital camera

And I’m never gonna’ have a cell phone

Because if I can’t hear it ring

I’ve got an answer machine

That takes a message for me if I’m not home

‘Cause I’m a retro man

A retro man

A Retro man

In a world of new technology

Just trying to keep up the best I can

Hard drives floppy disks

Who’d have guessed it’d come to this

To watch the tube or hear a song

Takes three remotes to turn it on

Retro man

It’s all cyberspace and digital stuff

Its way too much it’s never enough

It’s a crash course a hard sell

It’s a nightmare and a livin’ hell

To a retro man

Well I dusted off my old turntable

And it still goes round and round you bet

And I listen when I please

To my ancient LPs except for sometimes

When I play a cassette

‘Cause I’m a retro man

A retro man

A Retro man

In a changing technology

Just trying to keep up the best I can

I’m a retro man, retro man, retro man

I’m a retro man, retro man, retro man

Just a retro man, retro man, retro man

Such a retro man

In an age of new technology

Trying to keep up

The best I can

I’m a retro man

Umm

A retro man
