I'm Still Looking

I’m still looking

Eyes wide open

I’m still wishin’

I’m still hoping

I’m still waiting for the sunlight

To filter through the haze

And shine on brighter days

I’m still looking

I’m still trying

To keep on giving

Make it a better world

One worth living in

Although sometimes in my weakness

Shadows cloud my eyes

I still fanaticize

I’m still winning

But it’s so hard to see when it’s raining

And it looks so much like teardrops

Rolling down my window pane

I keep searching for answers

I haven’t found them yet

Ah but don’t forget

I’m still looking

And wishin’ and hopin’

With eyes wide open

For a better world

Lookin’ and wishin’ and hopin’

With eyes wide open

And I may be dreamin’

But I’m still waiting

To start the lovin’ stop the hating

I keep thinking surely someday

We’ll learn to get along

Though I could be wrong

But I’m believing

And it’s so hard to see when it’s raining

And it looks so much like teardrops

Rolling down my window pane

I keep searching for answers

I haven’t found them yet

Ah but don’t forget

I’m still looking

And wishin’ and hopin’

With eyes wide open

I’m still lookin’ and wishin’ and hopin’

With eyes wide open

For a better world

Lookin’ and wishin’ and hopin’

With eyes wide open

I’m still lookin’ and wishin’ and hopin’

With eyes wide open

Lookin’ and wishin’ and hopin’

With eyes wide open

For a better world
