One Toke
Over The Line
This video was
gone for a couple of months and I thought it was back, but this
is only a 20 second teaser. I'd like to get the full copy
for Brewer & Shipley.

One Toke
Over The Line Members of the Elders and Enter
the Haggis along with Fran Harper play and sing the Brewer and
Shipley classic "One Toke Over The Line" at an accoustic jam
session in Killarny Ireland. No P.A. so the sound isn't great,
but still a fun listen. The audience was singing along, so
pardon the camera person's singing on the chorus.

One Toke Over
The Line on Mountain Dulcimer & Accoustic Bass I love it! I would like to hear it
with a bagpipe added. Maybe a bagpipe converted to a bong just to
keep it real. Great job guys. Dulcimer has always been one of my
favorite instruments.

Written by Michael Brewer and first partner Tom

Chris Hillman and the Byrds were going to
record it for their 1968 Notorious Byrd Brothers
LP. As it turns out Chris' group
with Stephen Stills recorded it first in 1972 on the
classic Manassas. Brewer & Shipley recorded
the definitive version two years later on ST11261.

Toke Over The Line
I have only been playing harp for about a year. I
don't think the tab I learned from is quite perfect
either. I only play with a G, an E, and
occasionally a C. Just a silly hobby I picked up to
enjoy while civilization continues to unravel. :-)
