Stephen Barncard is best known to Brewer & Shipley album buyers as the recording engineer on Tarkio and Shake Off The Demon, and the producer of their Archive Alive CD. Stephen's history with the Kansas City music scene started in 1966 and led to associations with The Vanguard, Brewer and Shipley, Chet Nichols, Mystic Number National Bank, In Black and White, The Smokin' Emeralds, The Young Aristocracy, and Stoneface.  Stephen co-produced Chet Nichol's Time Loop album and most famously recorded David Crosby's classic If I Could Only Remember My Name.
