Danny Cox

In the late 60's, Brewer & Shipley adopted Kansas City as their home base, as did fellow folk singer and Cincinnati native Danny Cox.  Brewer & Shipley and Danny became mainstays at The Vanguard coffee house in Kansas City.  With friends in Kansas City they formed Good Karma Productions to promote artists Brewer & Shipley, Danny Cox, Ted Anderson, and Chet Nichols.  Good Karma later signed the Ozark Mountain Daredevils.

Danny Cox recorded for ABC Dunhill, Casablanca, MGM, and others. These days he is busy writing jingles and working in local theatre productions in Kansas City.
