Bureman & O’Rourke ~ Shoulder To Shoulder

Some of you were introduced to the Kansas City duo Bureman & O’Rourke for the first time when they opened for Brewer & Shipley at Wildwood in 2009, or at the Focal Point shows in 2011. At each of those shows, audience members inquired about a Bureman & O'Rourke CD. And now I am happy to report that Bruce & Tim have released the CD they have been planning for several years. Included are Bruce’s “Over The Limit,” a show favorite for years, as well as Tim’s more recent gems “Ride Away” and “Angels Heroes and Her.” All in all, this well produced CD is packed with 16 heartfelt, nostalgic, and fun songs, all written by Bureman & O’Rourke. The title song, “Shoulder To Shoulder,” is about these two friends and musicians who have known each other since junior high school and are still standing shoulder to shoulder almost 50 years later. It is the perfect song for the special guest appearance of their heroes and longtime friends Brewer & Shipley. Great job Bruce and Tim!
