Oh Sweet Lady -

The show Friday night was great. It was pretty hot when the guys were doing their sound check and I heard Tom asking the sound guy to lower the sun. I guess he had some pull, because sure enough it went down before showtime and it cooled down to a reasonable warm night.

The Guys sounded great. They started the show very appropriately with "On The Road In Kansas City."

You might not have made it to the show, but the good news is that Michael & Barb Wiseman took pictures and they will be available very soon so you can at least see pictures from the show. They were breaking in a new volunteer photographer who shall go nameless (but his initials are Dave Day) so I am hoping there are enough pictures to justify a display. (I kid Dave)

Thanks for being our latest board member.

I agree, Steve. It was a great show. The weather was really comfortable compared to what we had put up with the last few weeks.
The aspect of their music that I really enjoy is that there is no artifice. I am not a part of the younger generations who may be more impressed with costumes and pyrotechnics. I especially enjoyed hearing "Witchi-Tai-To." The only downside was they didn't play long enough!

As promised.....here are Michael & Barb Wiseman's wonderful pictures from the Grinders show. Michael W. tells me that the first shot in the series was definitely shot by Dave Day.

It bears repeating, that we are so fortunate to have Michael & Barb Wiseman donate their time and effort so that the rest of us get to enjoy these great photos. And the photos will only mean more as time goes on.

Thanks Wisemans
